2022 – 2023
Due to the resurgence of the Delta and Omicron Variants of COVID, we are unable to reserve venues for OMTA Eugene/Springfield District student festivals at this time. Unless we can reserve a venue four weeks prior to the event, we will continue to use an online format using Zoom. Continue to check the website for updates throughout the year. For the OMTA state events, the information is found on the OMTA state website.
District virtual recitals will have two formats. One is a video only format, where we will have prerecorded videos presented on Zoom. The other one is a hybrid format, where students can play live from their home, or teachers/families can screen share a video recording of the performance. Please follow the teacher guidelines for virtual recitals here.
Our Student Activities Committee is working to ensure the safest and best possible experience for students and families. Thank you for your patience as we navigate this process. Our goal is to continue to offer enriching and professional festivals for our students.
We will continue to monitor the situation here in Lane County as well as in the state. The health and safety of our teachers, students, and their families is of the utmost importance.
