Repertoire | New revisions to this festival as of March 1, 2009, the OMTA Baroque Festival repertoire requirements will include all Baroque composers. Read the OMTA state guidelines for competitive, non-competitive and instrumental divisions.

Description | All students perform in an adjudicated recital and receive comments. Teachers may choose to enter their students in the competitive or non-competitive recitals. The instrumental categories included are: Piano, Organ, Strings, Woodwinds, Brass, and Vocal.In order for more students to have the opportunity to compete, there will be new age divisions as follows:
The adjudicator may select up to 30% from each age division of the competitive division who will advance to the Final Event of the OMTA Baroque Festival. Two alternates may be selected from each age division and as many Honorable mentions as judges wish. Three time OJBF winners are not included in the 30%, but they are adjudicated, and with the approval of the adjudicator advance to the State Final Event and receive a medal. |
