For this very popular OMTA event, students perform with other students in ensembles of two or more where each part is considered of equal importance. Ensembles include, but are not limited to, duos on one piano, quartets on two pianos, trios on three different instruments, etc. Ensemble playing requires students to listen critically and work with others to achieve a polished, artistic performance. All this enhances the fun in making music and prepares students for their role in the music community later in life…
